About me, Shelley, and it started with a question: why wasn’t my red wagon red in that photo?
That first black-and-white image sparked a lifelong passion for photography and visual storytelling.
I began as a wedding assistant in high school, drawn in by the craft and creativity behind the lens. At Purdue University, I studied Visual Communication Design and Photography—always with a camera in hand, capturing moments wherever I went.
Over the years, I’ve built a career as a Marketing and Design professional, from agency work to leading in-house teams. But no matter the project—product, event, or brand—visual storytelling remained at the heart of everything.
Today, I lead SHELLEY VZ STUDIOS—a creative team offering professional, design, on-site photography and videography tailored to your brand. We believe the best content is real content.
